The Values Behind Our Connectivity

Orbit

Bangladesh Satellite-1 is positioned in a geostationary orbit at 119.1°E. It has a perigee altitude of 35,789.3 km with a velocity of 3.07 km/s.

Frequency

Bangladesh Satellite-1 (BS-1) offers extensive coverage with 14 C-band and 26 Ku-band transponders, each providing 36 MHz bandwidth.

Payload

The BS-1 is equipped with a total of 40 transponders, including 26 Ku-band transponders and 14 C-band transponders.
